Post-Cabling Icon Professional Coaching, Preparation & Training
If the Cabling Icon is a qualified BICSI Technician/Installer and elects to apply for participation in the bonus contest for the BICSI Cabling Skills Challenge, an application will be submitted to BICSI and if selected, you will receive professional coaching, preparation and training from the Cabling Icon team to better prepare you for the competition.

Bonus Contest
If the winner of Cabling Icon is a current BICSI-credentialed ITS Technician/Installer, he/she will have the option to be entered in BICSI's Cabling Skills Challenge held at the BICSI 2012 Winter Conference & Exhibition at Disney's Coronado Spring Resort in Orlando, Florida, February 12-16. If the 2012 Cabling Icon is accepted to participate in the BICSI Cabling Skills Challenge, he/she will receive free travel, accommodations, food and wages (40 hours) for the week of the conference. Winter conference registration is complimentary for the BICSI Cabling Skills Challenge selected participants, which will allow the Cabling Icon to earn Continuing Education Credits (CECs) to keep their BICSI credential current. If the Cabling Icon places first in the BICSI Cabling Skills Challenge and is named BICSI Installer of the Year, he/she will receive $5,000 from BICSI.

If the winner of Cabling Icon does NOT hold a BICSI ITS Installer or Technician credential, a scholarship seat to attend a BICSI ITS Cabling Installation Program course will be provided by BICSI. Once the winner of Cabling Icon receives a BICSI Installer/Technician credential, he/she will qualify to enter the BICSI Cabling Skills Challenge. If you feel confident in your skills and ability to rally your votes in foresight of being selected as the next Cabling Icon, it is recommended that you take the BICSI course and earn your credential ASAP. Tuition reimbursement will be provided if you are selected as the Cabling Icon and are not already credentialed. All travel, lodging, exam fees and associated costs to attend the course will be the responsibility of the individual.
